Whenever I'm awake and able to work, I will be using my Livestream feed to display my computer screen so you can watch me paint and otherwise make art. I've got four main pieces of art I'm working on right now, chances are I'll be working on at least one of them this weekend...

My first and largest piece is "All Aboard". This piece features a Victorian chap, ushering people onto his steampunk-style airship. The overall composition is done, its all line-work and painting now with the exception of the middle ground, which only exists in loose concept. I hope to finish this piece soon, as I hope to have it in the Origin's 2011 Game Convention visitor's literature.

My second most ambitious piece is "Fight in the Park" which showcases two robots, the viewpoint of one from which the image is being painted from. The two robots are of course battling over the attention of a fairer robot lass waiting on a blanket in the grass nearby. The composition for this piece is also complete, as well as line-work, painting is all that's left to do. I've Livestreamed this piece a few times already and can be seen on occasion while my feed is offline and the autopilot has taken over. These clips show my rough idea being cleaned up into usable line art, and later basic coloring applied to one of the robots.

My third piece is that of a goblin reaver, or as I like to call him a boglin (he lives in a bog and I'm slightly dyslexic so it at least makes sense to me). I've yet to post work-in-progress shots of this piece as I'm only in the planning phase. So many possibilities and too many other pieces to do LOL!

The fourth and final piece on my plate for the moment is a dark background that I initially began as an alternate design for my website background. This image is that of a shadowy realm, covered in darkness and barely illuminated by violet, ethereal streams of shadow energy. From cracks in the sparsely vegetated ground light weakly pours out and up cutting into the darkness with eery hues of green. A single derelict column looms in the foreground, the final resting place for an abandoned helm of untold history. I'm really excited about this piece, I worked on it a bit this evening.

So with that, I go to bed.
